The most famous Quinquina is gathered on the mountain of Cajanuma in Peru. It was from there that the first remedy brought back to Europe was drawn, according to Monsieur de la condamine. The study of the Quinquina, its virtues and the best ways of extracting the juice that provides the best drug, are the work of Monsieur Jussieu and Monsieur de la Condamine.
